Who I am
My name is Miles Nollman and welcome to my e-portfolio. This is a reflection of my time at the University of Utah. I grew up on the East Coast, in a small town nestled in the shores of Fairfield County. Rowayton, Connecticut is the place that I called home for the first 17 years of my life before moving to Utah in 2012. I came out to Salt Lake with the intentions of spending my time outside, going to school, and skiing. I stuck to the plan but soon after, I realized that the industry I felt so passionate about had opportunities for employment and further careers.
I have developed a very professional combination of degrees that will benefit me in the Outdoor Rec/Action Sports Marketing industry. I decided on obtaining a Parks, Recreation, and Tourism BS. The Parks Recreation and Tourism degree has kept me grounded within the recreation world, more importantly the Sports community. Throughout this website, I have examples of my work from my time at the University of Utah.
My biggest career goal is to work within my passion. I've realized that when Im happy and passionate with what I'm doing, I do my best work.
